Requirements

• Schedule lighting maintenance techs 
• Review all lighting maintenance maps for accuracy, completeness and possible jobs 
• Generate work from lighting maintenance maps 
• Check division vehicles and confirm maintenance 
• Order materials for lighting maintenance 
• Maintain and perform inventory 
• Generate new sales 
• Writing Lighting maintenance estimates 
• Maintain, inventory and secure divisional tools 
• Perform safety meetings for lighting maintenance dept 
• Perform inspections of lighting maintenance sites 
• Customer interaction for LM issues 
• Draw maps for new sites under LM 
• Update existing maps with critical information re: controls, location, voltage etc. additional material information 
• Must have clean and valid CA drivers license 
• Must have commercial experience & strong troubleshooting skills

• Needs to be self motivated, have the ability to work with little to no supervision, as well as being happy to be part of a team.

This is F/T Work, hours can VARY... individual needs to be available and able to respond to emergency service calls as they arise some nights & weekends are possible.

Basic computer skills, being able to upload pictures and send via email or phone

Position 6 - Lighting Technician

 Job Description
- Installation of interior and exterior lighting systems in commercial buildings
- Troubleshoot and Repair lighting systems including Florescent, HID, neon etc...
- Experience working with electrical systems ranging from 12v to 480v is expected.
- Ability to work at night with limited supervison and assistance.
- Ability to observe and report back on other issues outside of lighting maintenance.


Geographical Location / Travel Requirements
- Travel in and around the Greater LA, Orange and Ventura Counties will be required.
- Service of exterior/pole lighting will take place in early morning/Late evening hours.
- You must reside within a reasonable distance to the locations you service, please list your residence address on your resume.


General Requirements
- State of California Lighting Certification
- Clean DMV and Background.
- Ability to use email and operate a digital camera.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in adverse situations.
- Available on nights and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Ability to take emergency service calls on some nights and weekends.
- Ability to submit paperwork with detailed notes within 24 hours of a site visit.
- Candidate will supply their own tools and working equipment including a 6 foot ladder.
- Specialized tools (ladders 8ft and taller) pulling equipment etc... to be company provided.
